Refund Policy

1. Returns

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it

  • Be in its original packaging

  • Include proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email)

To start a return, please contact us at info@theackleytradingcompany.com with your order number and reason for return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of goods cannot be returned, such as:

  • Perishable items (e.g. plants or food products)

  • Personalised or custom-made items

  • Gift cards or downloadable products

If an item is not eligible for return, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note:

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

  • If your refund is delayed, check with your bank or payment provider as processing times may vary.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need an exchange for the same item, please email us at: info@ackleytradingcompany.com with photos of the product and your order number.

5. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you.

6. Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty or we made an error, you will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service to ensure the item reaches us safely.
